Rom suggestion?

I am looking for a rom suggestion for my first one. I used buglesd beast when I had a droid 1. Looking for a good battery rom for my X.

Id have to say apex I tried just about every rom and always went back to apex also for battery life install juice defender...best app in the world I used to have to charge my phone every day by like 8...its 3am here and im at 30%
Anyways back on topic apex is awesome the transitions are beautiful the speed is great as well and it is incredibly stable

Try them all out. I tried apex, tranquility, fission, etc. Ran each one for about a week to get a clear idea of which one was for me. Each time making a nandroid so I could easily switch to the winner. In the end I choose GummyJar and RubiX focused as my top two. The devs Kejar and Drod are great and always on the forums and twitter glad to answer any question. Blur is completely gone from these roms and they are fast as can be, battery is double that of stock verizon x also. if you don't like the stock gingerbread theme there are many themers for these roms working hard to please everyone. Try a blurless rom and see what you think. I could never go back to blur.

Speaking of battery life. My test is almost over for Darkslide v4.1 with my BH6X extended battery.

Of course I have 21% idle, a guys gotta sleep (6 hrs. a night for 3 days). But I took pictures all the

way through the 2 1/2-3 days. Of course results may vary, I'm a Madman
