ringtones

okk so I'm trying to assign text message ringtones but none of my ringtones are showing up in the notification list? any advice???

There are several options.

1. Choose music instead of android system.
2. Open the music app, find the song, press and hold, choose set as ring tone.
3. Install ringdroid, do the same as #2 but choose notification.
4. If you're rooted, move the files to /system/media/audio/notification, reboot.
They will be under android system after that.
