Ringtones for Droid X

Has anyone experienced the ring tones on the X sound muffled? I tried changing surround settings but it doesn't seem to work. I adjusted the volume and some ringtones still sound muffled!

I experience the same thing with the DROID ringtone sound after I upgraded to Gingerbread, are you on GB as well?
