Ringtones and alarms..

I have some ringtones i want to use as alarms, but can't find them listed. They show up as a ringtone, and when i click on it, it gives me an option to set it as my alarm, but when i go to alarm, it's not there, and not even in the list to choose from. Any ideas?

On the root of your SD card you should have a folder named "media."

Inside the "media" folder, make sure you have three additional folders:
1) alarms
2) notifications
3) ringtones

Make sure the sound file you are trying to set is in the "alarms" folder.

and what I do is all the short ringtones that I want in all folders.... copy them into each one you want the tone available for.
