I know there is a setting to adjust the ring and notification volume when the phone is face down or in your pocket.
I want to turn that setting off. I'd rather it just ring at the volume I have it set at so I notice it more.
I saw it in a menu somewhere...can't remember where that was.
Anyone know off hand?
Thanks.

Yes, that's where you set your volume level. The OP is asking if there's an option somewhere to override set levels based on how/where the phone is being used (in pocket, face down, etc). I'm not aware of where a setting like that might be.

Yeah, that's not what I am asking. I know how to adjust the volume of my ringtone and notifications.

I saw somewhere, a box to check that lowered the ring and notification volume if the phone was face down on a table or upside down in a pocket.
Maybe a MOTO setting?
I remember checking it...now I want to turn it off and I can't f'ing remember where it was.

Join the "old" crowd.

Still researching but I've come up empty so far.

The setting for volume to be lower when face down, as I recall.. Is a moto setting.. I don't use them though.

That may very well be true but I can't find it. I combed through the entire instruction manual and didn't see mention of it.

As far as I can tell mine rings just as loud when in my pocket as not. I don't have any "in pocket detection" settings on that I know of, but I haven't looked either.

I think it's an option to make it ring quieter when face down.. Like a sleep option.. I don't recall..

Yeah, but I can't find it anywhere (if it exists).
