Retrieving Deleted Texts???

Is there way to retrieve deleted texts on your phone? Is there one sms app vs. another that can do this?

This won't help you but with Google Voice deleted messages go into the trash in your GV account and can be restored. I'm not sure how often the trash is automatically purged.
