[Request] Transparent/Semi-Transparent Notification Bar

Hey everyone. I am currently at wits end with figuring out how I alter my status bar. If I was simply changing the color I feel this would be a lot easier. Does anyone know which guides I should look up, and if Semi Transparency, or full transparency in the PNG image works?

Where is a guide on how to change the colors of the icons also?

Lastly, an App that hides the Notification Bar would also be very fitting. As the Zune Home, Home replacement, does not have an option for it!

Backstory: I'm currently running Zune Home 1.3, with The LP+ Dev's Zune media player, and WP7 Lock Screen, and Contacts. I love the feel of a lot of the UIs by Microsoft, and the only thing that I have yet to make feel similar is the unhidable, Black and Green notification bar.

UOT doesn't work with the D2G for that feature.

To my knowledge, transparent pulldown hasn't yet been figured out for the D2G.

For the status bar, it might be possible, but I don't know for sure.

On the pulldown for my status bar I put the heartbeat thing lol it looks so cool

Have not been able to do a transparent status bar or notification pull down.
Although I have done a "cut-out" and got it to work.

There's a working transparent status bar metamorph somewhere, worked on mine when I ran fenom.

i know that launcher pro has the option to hide your status bar (may only be for paid version idk)
