Removing a duplicate widget?

Harold

New Member
How do I remove/delete a duplicate widget that I mistakenly added. I can't seem to locate how to perform this action. It now takes up almost half of one of my screens. I've looked through these discussions for several hours in an effort to locate instructions, but no luck. I know it's stupid, but I just can't figure it out! Thank you.

press and hold the widget and drag it down (where that thing you pull up to view all your apps.... forgot what's it called... damn....):icon_eek:

the app drawer :).... it'll turn into a trash can/red and you can 'drop' your duplicate widget into the trash

I have tried this 100 times and the widgets won't go away, I hold down and drag to trash can, they turn red but go right back up to the screen.
