Remove wifi tether notification icon in CM7-GB

I was wondering if there was a way to remove the blue icon for the built in tethering in CM7. I can't seem to find any options for it, and even if I turn it off the icon is still there.

yep update to the newest nightly

The newest nightly is the 8-30 one, correct? That's the one I'm on
