Reminders for e-mail, texts, voice-mail

My previous phone would send out an initial notification tone for all messaging that came in and then, if not read, would remind me with a different tone that unread messages were still in my inbox. Now with the Droid X, I find it impossible to constantly monitor the little green light which is the only reminder I have found.

Does anyone know how to set the Droid to remind me of unread messages (again, v-mail, text, e'mail) with a reminder tone?

Try the Missed Call app - that probably has an option like that.

There is nothing native on Android for that. The trend lately has moved towards just alerting once and then that's it. Apparently that's what most people want, so that's what there is. And once I got used to it, I found it to be more to my liking too - though at first I was mad that I didn't have the repeating reminder.

The handcent app helps with the text messges. It has options to do reminders.
