Red dead redemption

It's honestly not THAT short. I did beat it in a few days but I was obsessed with it and spent WAY too much time on it.

I've already beat the story, challenges, strangers, outfits, and everything to reach 100% completion. Now I'm going to try and get some of the trophies/achievements and then just play multiplayer until I feel like replaying the story again.

I love this game lol

So how is the multiplayer for the 360? I'm not a fan of GTA IV online and have read comparisons between that game and RDR.

I have a PS3 but I imagine the gameplay is the same. You start off in Free Roam which is essentially the entire Singleplayer world with up to 16 (I think) people in it roaming around. You can join up into posses and fight other posses, you can do gang hideouts together, go into a deathmatch with your posse members, etc. If you don't want to do this and just want to get into action, you can jump straight into a match. There is deathmatch, team deathmatch, gold rush (capture the flag kinda), and I think another one or two. There is also supposed to be a free DLC this month that adds six 2-4 player co-op missions to multiplayer.

Hope that helps :P

Each online mode other then free roam also has multiple difficulties. To start, you just get the basic games where it auto aims for you if you bring out your weapon within a reasonable distance of the enemy. Once you hit 10 or 15 it unlocks harder versions of the same games, where you have to manually aim. They are also releasing a free DLC Patch in a few weeks if I recall correctly that will add some new games into the online multiplayer. Eventually they will have all single player elements ported into the multiplayer other then the main storyline. So eventually, players will be able to play cards, dice, or even horseshoes against each other.

It is pretty addicting though. I bought the game on the midnight release and didn't start the single player story for three days because I was just having a blast online.

I love how every mini game online starts with a giant shootout.

I was impressed with the online game play. It really gives a wild west kind of feel, just finding others a gunning them down if you chose or joining a posse and going after people. I think with how big and awesome games have become, this is just a back to the basics fun game to play.

Does anyone ever play SOCOM for the PS3 I still love that game, and am always looking to join or start new clans with serious players.
