Recorded Videos Only Play for 1 second

Videos I've recorded on my Motorola Droid will not play through when I try to watch them. They'll play for less than a second and then they will cut-off.

I've tried converting them and this doesn't seem to change anything. Anyone know how to fix this?

Hi Lox,

what are you using to play the files? the Droid itself, a PC, Media Player, VLC, Quicktime?

I would suggest to try playing them in VLC, which is less picky in what it plays, and see if it goes further than one second. Also try recording a clip using different settings on your Droid, and see if that has the same problem.

I am using the Droid itself and I have tried using different settings when recording videos.

Oh, ok.

Since you mentioned you tried converting them, I figured it might be on a computer rather than on the Droid itself.

Are you rooted/overclocked, custom rom? Some people have reported playback issues with video when overclocked or with certain roms.

Sometimes a batterypull helps with video playback issues too.

Well I have only recently tried to convert them to see if it would fix the issue. I just tried the battery pull and that didn't seem to work, and I haven't really messed with the rom or anything so I'm not sure.
