Record Audio to use as Ringtone

Hello,

I want to record audio from my TV using my droid x and then set that recording as my ringtone. What is the best way or app I can download to do this?

RingDroid (free in the Market) let's you turn any MP3 into a ringtone - all you have to do is get your audio recording in MP3 format and the DX might do that for you

Ringdroid was my first try...for some reason even though it has a record option and I try to record using it I am unable to save the file as it says "ringdroid does not support this type of file."

Try powering your phone off and then back on and see if it wil work. Sometimes I get that message from ringdroid and a reboot usually fixes it.
