Recent Droid X update interface changed and can't find applications shortcut help!

Hi,
I've been putting off the update for a couple of weeks, so it is probably an Oct. update.
My phone is not rooted and I'm on verizon.
Post update I now I have fixed icons at the bottom of my screen and I applications shortcut is nowhere to be found.
I can get into manage applications and they are all there, but I cannot find the list of them!
I am not finding any posts relating to this issue

You have 4 apps on the launcher at the bottom. The box to the far right is your app drawer. If I read correctly that's what you're looking for.
