Hello All,

About to switch to Verizon to get the droid (currently using unlocked storm on tmobile).

My question is:

does the droid still have random reboot issues? or has this been corrected since the december update?

thanks

I've been using my Droid since November, and was a Storm user prior to the Droid. The ratio of random reboots on my Droid vs Storm is about 1 reboot to every 25 random reboots on the Storm.

Never an issue for me, nor did I ever hear of any widespread problem with random reboots either.

I purchased my Droid December 26 and rooted February 14th. I've had one force close which occurred after I installed an app incorrectly.

I think you helped me over on crackberry replace a radio file in my storm! lol.

Just sick and tired of reboots, wanted to make sure I finally get a phone that works. I googled Droid reboots and a lot of stuff came up. But seems like after December, less people have reported problems.

Don't want an iphone for sure, glad to hear that the Droid is pretty solid.

I had an iPhone and really liked the phone. I did not like AT&T's lousy phone service and lack of 3G. Thus the move to Droid. The Droid has been very "solid', for me.

I've had the Droid from the first day they came out and do not recall ever rebooting itself. That said, sometimes it has started acting squirrely (things not working quite right) and then I will reboot it. Usually this will clear the problem up.

I'm shocked that the OP ever got three idea that Droid even has random rebooted. I've had 2 since I got my Droid in November. Storm I had would reboot sometimes daily.
