Razr will not send text measages.

Well for a while now it had this issue. After a restart it might send 1 or 2 then stop. I tried a hard reboot nada. After some searching I found what I think is the issue. I disabled google talk. Now it sends texts and no more green arrow showing its sending but never is.

Talk shouldn't affect texts, they are two separate and different applications. What else did you disable and have you tried a different texting application?

here is what iv done.
2 FDR'S
3 hard resets
deleted all apps
went and bout a 6.99 sim card at the vzw store per tech support request,
made sure it was set on the right network.
2 different texting apps.

both times they would show sending but never would send. the stock factory app would show the green arrow but the message never would send.

i uninstalled the google talk updates and disabled, which it actully updated to a newer verison of that. since then i havent had any issues. the texts go right on through.

Strange but hey lol glad it worked.

Sim cards are free though, If you got charged you got ripped off.

thats what i was thinking. but oh well. prolly needed one anyway, i did get a no sim message a few times,
