Quick question

I hear alot of people saying to wipe data and cache three time before installing from roms if yourstill on 2.1. Now if i use rom manager to flash a froyo rom when i tap the wipe data and cache option isnt it only going to wipe the data once?

I have never wiped data/cache/system more than once and have never had a problem.

I'm not really sure where the wipe 3 times originated but I've never had to do anything more than a wipe and install.

Ok thanks for clearing that up for me. So can anyone tell me why its good to wipe data and cache three times? If you know why can you also tell me if rom manager wipes data anc cache three times?
