quick question

Yes it does.. on 3g it uses a radio, and 4g it powers both the 3g and 4g radio..making 4g the biggest battery user.

Also.. the worse your 4g signal, the worse your battery life.
 
So what ur saying is that while on wifi occur showing 3g then its not going to be such a battery drain but if while ur web surfing and it switches to 4g then your battery is going to get draines. I understanding correctly?

The problem is that WiFi isn't always available. And when I say isn't available, I mean that most "free" Wifi is crippled so you can't download apps, music, movies or anything that uses data. If you have access to a secure WiFi, then that's different.

Also WiFi won't count on your data plan.
