Quick question

Okah so my friend just last month renewed his att 2 year contract and got the iphone 3gs. But att is kinda going down the drain and stuff so he is wanting to possibly switch to verizon. Is there a way for him to do this without having to pay a termination fee? He's on a family plan.

P.S. I know this isn't in the right section, I just put it here because I get much quicker responses.

Definitely wrong section, but yes, he would have to pay an individual contract termination fee, since he already renewed. Not dead certain on that, but I went through something similar unfortunately.
