Quick question on viewing web page in non mobile format?

I have a favorite forum that I visit but it always goes in mobile view and I can't view the photos in mobile view. Is there a way I can change to normal view? On my blackberry there was always a setting for the browser which made it nice for this.

Thanks for any help on this members, I really enjoy the Droid 3 and wish I made the switch long time ago!!

-open your stock browser
-in the url window type about:debug and then press go
-hit the menu button
-click settings
-scroll down to UAString
-choose desktop

Thanks very much works great when I changed the UA string to desktop,

I will give dolphin a try also.

By the way how is mini opera browser for the Android? I wasn't to happy with firefox for the droid, but I see its in Beta still also.

Opera Mini is good when you are on a slow connection or want to save data. It compresses webpages using Opera's servers allowing less data to be sent to your device. When I have a weak 3G signal I definitely notice the difference. Opera Mobile on the other hand is a regular browser that uses the Presto engine. Someday Opera plans to merge both with a toggle option to switch between the two browsing styles.

I use Skyfire. To toggle between Android, Desktop and Default, you just tap the little Android dude in the toolbar up top and choose the corresponding radio button.

For some reason, Skyfire is the only browser for Android phones that I don't hate. I think I've tried everything and just didn't like anything else at all. Skyfire seems more stable than it used to be, as well. Fewer force close issues now.
