Questions on Droid X Themes

I have been searching for a noob friendly tutorial on how to apply a theme to your droud x. I haven't been able to find a good, clear one. I just rooted my phone on Sunday. I cannot fins a good tutorial on barely anything 2.2 related for 2 days. Everything says 1.6 or donut. I got my droid in August. And I guess anything else you can tell me that I can do without it "bricking" my phone, that'd be awesome and THANK YOU.
