I was hoping it was hardware acceleration.

IPhone has hardware acceleration for the UI, it's why the UI is butter smooth.

Android has hardware acceleration in various capacities, such as the method employed by the opera web browser.

Right, I was specifically hoping for hardware acceleration for the UI built into this new Blur.

Yes but iphone does not have it.

He said that it's something Iphone users would like, this means it's something they've become accustom to using on the Iphone that Android devices haven't had previously.
