question about USB cords

Hey guys. just wanting to know if the PS3 usb controller cable will work with the droid charger. has anyone tried it?

I thought the USB cable on the PS3 was mini-USB. If it is micro USB, it should work, since it is a standard connector.

As stated above, the PS3 controller cord is a Mini USB, and the droid uses a Micro USB. They do make adapters (i have one) that you put on the end of a Mini USB cord to make it adapt to Micro USB.

You could just go on monoprice.com and buy a new cable for $1.25. I bought four of them and keep one in my office, car and computer bag.

yep, or amazon. I think i paid something like $10 for 4 - 1.5' micro usb cables. This included shipping.

monoprice.com rocks! I bought a few 10' cords for $1.65 each. My VZW store wanted $12.95 for a 3' chord...

You do have to be careful what you order. There are more than one microUSB cord out there - my Razr had a larger connector on the micro end than the Droid has.
