question about updating phone.

im currently rooted running get-r-dun diet droid. i lost my backup so before doing an sbf could i just wait until some one hacks the gb up date then flash it to my phone like any other rom?

I assume it will be available via sbf you just need to wait for someone to release it, so yes you will be able to you may just need to wait a lil longer. Or just wait till a new rom based on the update is out.
