question about ROM

I finally got the nerve and installed Rubix 1.8.6, now i am wanting to theme. What is available? I use Launcher Pro if that makes a difference. Also how do I get custom icons? I want to make my X unique, but someone said to use themes I have to use ADW launcher, is this right? So now that I am running rubix what can I do that I could not before?

I personally use it, only the version for Rubix 1.8.9
