ok so i took my phone to the Verizon store today...looks like my headphone jack is faulty so they are sending me a new phone...so my question is, i know that paid apps will be avail to me when i readd my gmail account to my phone....what about non paid apps? or the stuff on my sd card? trying to figure out the best way to get my phone back to where it is now quickly.

thanks

Paid apps will be available from the market under downloads...
Free apps you will have to re-download

Some use Astro and back them up to the sdcard. But then you don't get notified on updates from the market.

I didn't realize that. I was thinking about buying mybackup pro to backup everything. However, your statement tells me that would be useless for backing up apps. Is it the same if I have to do a factory reset? I would assume so.
