Pull out Keyboard question

I have noticed that when pressing the space bar it seems lower than the keys above it.

Is this intentional or is my bottom row of keys a tad lower on mine alone...

In fact looking at it closer the whole bottom row is at a tilt where the top of the keys are almost flush with the ones above and the bottom of space bar is lower.

Its a very slight difference you can only tell by feeling or by holding it sideways...someone tell me it's not abnormal..

SSHGuru,
It's not abnormal. Upon further inspection.... (and some intrinsic medicine :icon_ rasta:) the space bar does seem slightly 'lower' than the rest of the keys.

Maybe because it's 3 keys wide that it appears 'flatter'?

Are you really serious or trying to calm me down?

When typing I do notice that the top of the space bar is even with the keys above but the bottom of the space bar is lower and therefore harder to hit.

Damned by nature to try to calm you down :).... but seriously... I can see why you might see this. The fact that the space bar is 3 keys wide seems to give it the appearance that's it's not as tall as the other keys. Each key has a convex shape to it. Even if the space bar has that same shape.... it will have a much longer surface where it's flat.... giving it the impression that it's lower that the other keys.... which seem to be rising slightly higher.

It does feel 'lower', but I find it's because with the other keys, I'm pressing directly on top of the button underneath, whereas with the spacebar, I'm not pressing directly on top of the button and it feels lower.
