next step is to download the sensor test app from the market. It's free....

Sensor Test v1.0 Application for Android | Tools

Thanks CK, Ill let u know the results in un momento!

Ehm... what exactly am i looking for once i open it?

you will notice when your hand is not over the sensor it should have a static number. Place hand over sensor and it will change showing that the sensor is picking up the obstruction thus working properly.

The problem is, I cant see what it reads when i hold it against my face... obviously somethings not working right. If the sensors working fine, then its the software that turns the screen off when it senses something that's not working right... Something is not working lol!

I have this problem ONLY when I hold phone in right hand/right ear. I facedial EVERY time. Left hand/left ear, works perfectly. There is something subtle I do on the right to cause this that I haven't figured out, so I do mostly left handed holding.
