Prompts to Update.

Hey. I have a rooted Moto Droid running BB v0.4.

Today I started getting notifications and pop up windows telling me to upgrade to Froyo 2.2 or whatever. Should I do this? It wouldn't mess with the rooting or anything?

If I shouldn't do it, how can I make the notifications go away? They come up like every ten minutes, it's pretty annoying.

just make sure you have sbrecovery flashed to your phone. select to apply the update and let the phone restart. my phone froze the the motorola M then just rebooted. update has been gone ever since. I'm rooted droid 1 also. as long as you have sbrecovery flashed you are good to go.
