"Profile:Home" Stays on screen

This first started when I had a Droid Advanced Task Killer installed. I would touch the back button on my Droid 2 and it would take me back to the main Home Screen, however this screen would be in the background and my Profile:Home screen (this screen shows all 7 screens at once, and should allow you to select one to go to) is displayed and will not go away. In the meantime, you can still slide to different screens and even click into most applications, but the Profile:Home screen would still be on top.

I uninstalled the Advanced Task Killer, and the Profile:Home screen stopped showing up. Since then the screen pops each time I select an app, but it didn't stay. Now when I press the back button it stays, and it also does it periodically when unlocking the phone (slide mechanism, no security number or dot code).

Is there something in managing applicatinos that I can clear data, clear cache, or force stop, even uninstall that will make this gliche stop re-occurring? I know that for the gliche regarding touch screen texting--the text would freeze upon pressing the space bar, and words wouldn't show-- you have to clear the cache under the multitouch keyboard settings in managing applications. I'm wondering is there something similar I can do regarding the Profile:Home gliche.

Thanks

Also have same problem.

I haven't installed anything new, it just started x-mass day. I can clear it out temporarilly by acessinng my setting page, going to change wall paper and then pulling up my gallery, but I see the image lurking behind pages whenever the screen changes. It is quite a bother and I want to find a permanant fix.
