PROblems with connection to pc

please give me some options and help

What is you phone doing and when does it begin?

The proper connection should be
Connect USB to Phone to PC
Slid down the notification bar and tap the line with the USB symbol
A new window should open then tap mount.

Are you able to successfully complete the steps?

Well when ever i try to slide it down..it like lags and clicks something else and does not work

Do a search, there are about 5 other threads regarding this...if I'm not mistaken it has to do with the cable. I had the same issue and I switched cables (used my old Storm cable) and it works better most of the time, sometimes it still acts up, but better than it was with the cable that came with it.

It could be the cable or your USB port. If you don't have a different cable try a different port.


When your not connected with a USB does your notification lag?

i just tried it with my friends old cord form a LG phone..and it was still like freaking out

is it the phone you think or what?

Not sure what the issue is. Have you ever successfully mounted your phone to your PC?
Does the same thing happen with your notification bar when your are not trying to connect/mount?

yeah when i try to pull down my nav bar..it like lags alot and most of the time it will click on something random.

I've not had that experience. Did you just get your Droid? If so, perhaps a return visit to VZW is the next step.

yeah and now its saying insert my SD card when is already in?
uuuugh this phone is crap.

Sorry you are having problems. You could try a factory reset.
