I'm having a lot of problems with the dialer when I have to enter numbers into an automated system. For instance, if the system asks me to "enter the last four digits of my social security number" or "enter the seven-digit extension of the party you want to speak to". Basically what happens is after entering the 2nd or 3rd number the screen locks up and goes black for a second. Then it the screen comes back on but as soon as I press a number it goes to black again. Press, repeat!
If I open the keyboard I can enter the number, or if I press the speakerphone button I can enter the number (which has become my standard workaround).
Does anyone have any idea what is going on, and how to fix it?
