Problems booting into Recovery Mode

I downloaded BuglessBeast via ROM Manager. I tried to boot into recovery mode from ROM Manger, but when it does I get the android guy laying on his back with an ! in a triangle coming out of his mid section. It sits at that for about a minute then boots up normally.

I powered off and tried to manually go into Recovery mode, but it does the same thing.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

I am having the same problem booting into recovery on my GNex. Does anyone have any suggestions? I want to make a Nandroid backup before I install a rom.
Thanks in advance for your help.

follow instruction here: [RECOVERY] ClockworkMod Recovery *CDMA Edition* (Final Version) what to do once clockworkmod installed "6. In Root Explorer go to System>recovery-from-boot.p (change to 1recovery-from-boot.p or delete)"

If you don't rename that file then the stock recovery will flash back on boot.

I got it. Along with what MotoDroid82 suggested, I reran fastboot flash recovery recovery-clockwork-5.5.0.4-toro.img

I have had this problem on and off also. When I have the problem I go in Rom Manager and re-flash Clockwork Mod and then it works.
