Problem with Weather Animations

I love my new Rezound; however, I get the cloudy weather animation everytime I turn on my phone. I don't get the animations for rain, snow, or bright sunny day if that is the current weather...all I get is the clouds.

I would like to disable the weather animations alltogether, but so far my phone will not cooperate. I've tried removing the weather widget and turning off animations in the widget settings to no avail. I've also tried different lockscreens (I use the weather lockscreen), skins, and scenes with no luck. I still get the cloudy animation every time. Does anyone know a fix for this?
