Problem with barcode scanning

I cannot get barcode scanning apps to work on my droidx. Has anyone been able to successfully use them? Any tips you can give me?

I use Google Googles. Make sure you hold still when taking the picture. What is it doing for you?

Bar Code Scanner Problem

My problem is that no matter how many times and how many ways I go over the code, nothing happens. Thanks.

I use "barcode scanner" and it works great on my droid

I use that one too. I find that you have to have very good lighting (I enabled the "camera light on" function in the app. It turns on the camera's flash when scanning)
Google Shopper's scan function also works fine on my X.

Have you cleaned the lens to see if that helps?

I am having the same difficulty...cannot get anything to scan & have tried at least 4 different apps!
