problem parsing package

My bothers Razr has a problens installing apps outside of the play store. It says "problem parsing package" i have downloaded the same files on mine and installed just fine. I even tried emailing him an apk. file installed on mine with no luck. Any ideas?

I fixed it by clearing the cache in boot mode.
