Sorry... I did look for an issues area.. didn't find one. I seem to be getting the "not able to connect to forum" message a lot. Sorry if that's not the error message word for word. My phone has data at the time... I think there's a hiccup in here... happens a lot in the automotive area... thanx for the help.. and moderator .. sorry for not finding the correct area for the post

Have you tried to clear data/cache on the Tapatalk app... Although, I have had this message myself on my Razr during data drop issues.

~it's not just a phone~

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the data drops, as I too am experiencing what you describe. My second guess would be that the droid forums app doesn't agree with the bionic.

Sounds like data drops because i have the tapatalk app and haven't had that happen to me.

I originally thought it was a data drop issue too...but to see for sure, i tried to post to a thread in automotive... i got the message stating i wasnt connected... so I toggled airplane mode on and off a few times and launched my browser to see if it would launch... it did, so I proceeded back to this app and tried to submit the post again... same thing happened..

Idk about u guys.. but when ny phone does a data drop it loses 3g and 4g... and it seems yo usually show that in my notifications bar

Often, while I'm not in the process of using it , my phone will have to data drop, then reconnect. If the DROID forums app was already opened and running in the background, I will open the app again, and it will stall.... Fail to connect, and usually force close. Then, if I reopen the app it seems to work fine. As far as I can tell, this seems to be what is happening to me. Which kind of sounds like what is your issue.... But I don't know??
