Weird the upload speed is so much higher than the download on every test I've seen.

The upload speed is a bug.

It would be REALLY useful if everyone posted where they're getting the speeds they post at.

mine was in the LA market.. i dont have 4g coverage where i live.. but i spend 60-70% of my day in 4g coverage

so tommorow ill use skyfire and get the test results through the site directly.. hopefully the upload bug wont effect the site either

but on another note i am simply blown away at how fast the speeds are i understand the speeds will lower once 4g becomes more common... but HQ videos on youtube load almost instantly and mobile hotspot works great.. i had my girlfriend log into my mobile hotspot using her ipod touch 4th gen.. we both tried out tango and it works nicely

6-11 mb down. 20-50 mb up using my bolt on LTE. usually about 2-3 bars.

8 mb down. 1 mb up on my home Wifi connection.

I'm in Chicago

Engadget on upload speed error - [Update: We've been told by Ookla that the Thunderbolt's massive send buffer is responsible for the erroneously high uplink speeds -- they've got a fix in the works and it'll be available as an update to the Speedtest.net app soon.]
