Possible to remove update from Droid Bionic?

I have a relative who uses a Motorola Droid Bionic and accidentally updated the phone last week. Immediately after the update installed, the phone began to act up. Service constantly cuts in and out, the phone will call out to multiple numbers in the middle of a call, etc. Yesterday while on the phone with her husband the phone cut him off and went to his voice mail.

Is it possible to remove this update? We did a factory reset, but the update was still installed when the phone finished rebooting.
