So awhile ago, I rooted my phone with that easyroot app cuz I heard it was like jailbreaking. Well it's not so and I didn't fully understand the point so I did the little "unroot me"

Well recently my friends that have droids have been getting the 2.2 update, with the 5 pages and stuff and i'm still at 2.1, so I called verizon. They asked if I ever rooted it and I said yes, and they said well then you have to go to the moto. website and download the update manually. I'm having a really hard time finding anything about 2.2 on the site. I Found a few things on updating it to 2.1 but besides that, Nothing.

Yeah check out the news section, there is about a hundred threads about 2.2

But I find it interesting that after being unrooted your phone would reject the OTA unless you installed clockworkmod or SPRecovery.
