PLEASE HELP-App to root a droid with the stock update

after several days of trying to root my droid the traditional way i've given up.
i want to root but the traditional route isn't working on my droid 1 with the stock update to 2.2

my desire is to overclock.

i tried some one click route to root and they aren't working either.

Has anyone found a traditional or one-click method of routing a moto droid 1 with the official 2.2 update?
