Do any of you know how to save a picture that has been embedded in an email. I know if its an attachment you can download them, but how about embedded ones. Know of any apps or setting that will allow it?
any help would be great..
Thanks

What does long-pressing on the picture give you?

K9 worked. It made every picture an attachment that you could download. Little aggravating. But at least it works.
I do appreciate the help. Maybe someone will fix that in an update or rom.
Fyi the method the other thread said to use didn't work. I forwarded the email to my yahoo and Gmail account and neither would even show the pics.
Thanks again.

I'm glad it worked, annoying as it is.

I'm new to android. I have an LG Revolution. I've loaded K9 but I cant save my embedded pics. Did you have to set something? I've also loaded Maildroid which seams to be getting me closer to my goal, but when I get to the folder I want to save it to, it says "not supported". I miss my blackberry. It was so much easier to save an embedded picture from my emails.

Another option: go to gmail.com in a web browser (instead of using the gmail app) when you want to download a photo. When I hold a finger on a photo there, the menu to download (and do a bunch of other things) comes up.
