Picture gallery unwanted pics

My picture gallery has pictures on it that are unwanted but I do not have the option to delete them. There are fifty pictures and everytime I try to delete them they are not deleted. How can I delete them?

Pray that the phone gets rooted. I don't know why they put those pictures in there like that.
