Phone won't download .zip files

When I try to download .zip files to my phone from this site or even others i Get a this file is not supported. I have unknown sources enabled I don't know what the problem is.

Use a third party browser like skyfire.

Or you can use a download program like Download All Files or Download Buddy

I'm trying to download through the native app on the phone. And it used to download any file through the original browser. Something has changed on m phone
