phone txt msgs full? but there all deleted!

My phone says my phones storage space is getting low n that my txt msgs are full but I only have 4 txt msgs.I deleted a lot of apps and took off all my photos and deleted stuff from download folder...any suggestions?

have you restarted the phone ever since? if so, does the same message appear?
