Phone Storage is Full??

When I try to send a text I keep getting this error and it won't let me text.

"Phone storage is full! Delete some files to free space."

I deleted all of my text messages that were saved.. I deleted apps I don't use and I moved all of the ones I could to my SD card.. and I'm still getting this error?? I have no idea what to do from here? Any help would be great!!

sorry I forgot to mention that.... it's an LG Vortex. And it does show like it has plenty of free storage..

Check your apps more than anything else. Also go into your settings, applications, manage applications, and select "ALL". Find "Messaging" and clear data.

mines doing the same thing when i try installing apps from the market now too. I just noticed it after i restored a clockwerk backup

thanks everyone.. it is fixed now! I did just have to reboot. Sorry I didn't think to do that before I asked the question.. I feel silly lol
