Phone off, wifi on?

Is there a way to do this? On Windows Mobile, I could turn off the phone radio, but leave wifi and bluetooth on. Is there a way to do this on android?

Turn on Airplane mode, then turn on WiFi.

Interesting....so flight mode isn't really flight mode!?!

Well, turning on Airplane mode shuts off all radios (WiFi and phone), but once they are both off, you can turn on just the WiFi. I think this is to support in-flight WiFi.

Right. My Touch Pro 2 had a Phone toggle as well and activating wifi or bt or phone would disable flight mode...that seems more intuitive than this implementation, but I'm glad the functionality is still there.
