Phone maxes out CPU 97-100% all the time.

I noticed for some time that my D2G maxes out a lot. The task icon appears in the top bar and cpu processor is running anywhere between 97-100% I happens almost every time I use Maps or Navigation, and I use those everyday. I also have Lookout on the phone which I believe is always running. I can't be sure, but could this app be using up a lot of resources? The phone did not max the CPU when I first got it. (a lot fewer apps) Also, would moving apps to the SD card affect this? I have done that also.

I posted this in the D2G forum with no answers. Hopefully more people here who might have an idea.

Download watchdog from the market. The lite version is fine. It will tell you what's using the cpu.
