Phone Low on Space

For some reason every few days my phone tells me I have low space, and I have to move stuff to my SD card, but it doesnt leave me with much. Does anyone know why? And is there a way to fix it? Perhaps making the SD card the default storage? Please help.

Ive been looking into it and havent tried it yet, but you could try the App 2 SD app, or something similar. Some may require root access, but it looks like you should be able to move a lot of apps and stuff to your sd card.
