Hey guys, I know nothing about how to fix phones, etc.... But I accidentally stepped on my Droid Incredible and now it has a crack in the screen and half of it turns black... If I press on the phone then it clears up, but I have to do it every time... How do I know what part is cracked, and is it replaceable? It looks like the outside screen is okay but is there an inside one? What is it called, and is it even fixable? Thanks guys!

Hello and welcome...it wasn't that incredible....was it?? Just kidding :)

The screen inside the device is cracked..yes its replaceable..you could call around to cellular phone repair shops, or get in touch with the manufacturer... those are probably your best bets...

Sorry for the bad joke... :) lol Thanx for joining our forum

Haha thanks! Can't I just purchase one off of ebay? Is it called the digitizer?

You could get one off of eBay as well..no the digitizer is attached to the screen...that's the part that translates touch to the screen so it recognizes it..

But yes... a phone off of eBay, and you doing the screen swap..or replacing the device...which ever...

Warning ..swapping the screen is not as easy as you might think...

You'll need both the screen and digitizer...they're attached...
